Summer!
Today after 3 PM I will officially be on summer vacation. Here are a list of things I’m planning on doing with all of the free time I’ll have:
(Note I’m making this list instead of studying for my final…which is in less than 2 hours)
1. Actually do the photo a day challenge I was going to do for May.
2. Read books for fun.
3. SLEEP
…and so many other things. I can’t wait to put this semester behind me.
One final to go!!!

Great Review for a Great Band.
The Head and the Heart are one of my all time favorite bands. This article or praise for them says so many good things about them I just had to share and hope to spread the love!
Yay!!! The Head and the Heart!

Self Affirmations
I’ve added two things to my days: self affirmations and yoga. I sometimes don’t get to the yoga (although I know I need it) but I always tell myself two things.
“I am strong and I can get through this.”
and
“Everything will be ok.”
These simple little self affirmations in the morning or when I’m feeling stressed help me to step back, take a deep breath, and collect myself before I get really overwhelmed and make a stupid decision.
It may seem silly to basically tell yourself that you’re awesome but let’s face it….we are all pretty awesome and if no one else will us, we’ll just have to remind ourselves. :)

This is my goal for May. I know it says April but I forgot to start it this month and am just not remembering I pinned this….Day 31 will be a thumbs up picture for completing the month!

It’s time for some serious blogging…
Spring is here and for the first time I totally participated in some spring cleaning of my own. It was refreshing to go through everything in my room and throw away so many things I didn’t need anymore. I reduced so much clutter and found that some of my stress went with it. It’s amazing that something as simple cleaning my room made me feel so much more relaxed.
Here’s to a happy spring!
